It’s a rainy Friday afternoon here in Boston. All you parents are about to get your Friday evening on, right? Some good take out, pizza for the kids, a bottle of wine? My kids are listening to music and dancing so hard upstairs I think they are going to put holes in the ceiling. If you know me, you know I love good music, like most everybody else. I think my tastes have certainly rubbed off on the kids.

 

I’m a mom with a nine (almost 10!) year old girl and a 7 year old boy. And with that comes lessons & activities.

I put my daughter into soccer like every other stay at home mom in this town in Kindergarten.  My daughter likes to go outside and run around, and other mothers had commented on her skill with a soccer ball when we were fooling around at the park. Well OK then! Clearly she was meant for soccer!

He brought people from around the world together to sing a piece – individually – that he composed over a decade ago, and the result is breathtaking. Brought together by technology, all these people of all ages, children, teens, seniors, they’ve never met but are now a family connected forever.

 

So I already went on about some ‘stuff’ I do buy and enjoy. How about some stuff I enjoy for free around the holidays?

While I do not appreciate the fact that one of the local radio stations started playing Christmas carols 24/7 on November 1, I do enjoy a few choice festive tunes.
