Happy One Year Bloggerversary to me!

So I’ve been here for a year. What a year! I’ve shared so much, I’ve made some good friends. Come a long way.
The year in review. The condensed version.
I griped about stuff.
Swore off crappy little freebie toys. Mostly.
Got a shout out from Huffington Post blogger Liz Gumbinner of Mom-101.com (and of Cool Mom Picks) on her 2009 end of year list. I’m #45.
Admitted that my armpits were itchy. And what I did about it.
More griping, this time about my kids lack of appreciation for the meals I put on the table.
Made small changes, like using glass straws or cloth napkins instead of paper.
Made homemade organic chocolate syrup with this recipe, which is my most popular post yet.
More griping about people who don’t pick up after their dogs or wipe the public toilet seat.
I did discover that I love beet soup, thanks to The Blissful Chef and her easy recipe!
Found out I like green tea! Thanks Obubu Tea!
Scratched my head at the poor judgment of another mother with my daughter.
Found out I need to figure out an alternative to the play sand from Toys R Us or Home Depot.
Got a push reel mower in May and never went back to gas! Love it. Thanks EcoMowers!
Showed you my quirks. But not all of them.
Introduced you to my friend Go Green Beans, a smart, greener way to get batteries for your cell phones, or get a new cell phone. Recycle your old cell batteries through them, too. AND you can use your Green Bean points towards a number of great charities. Love them!
Talked about cows & chickens with the kids. Trying to explain why it is important for us to choose happy farm animals to eat if we are going to eat them at all.
Tried to tell the world how great vinegar is to clean with. It really is! Give it a shot!
Tried to get off the pill. Unsuccessfully.
Shared some memories from the ’80′s.
Went to Germany. Spent 3 weeks visiting my family. Reflected on it. Talked about what a green country it is – here and here.
Griped some more about stuff.
Reviewed a great book by Jonathan Safran Foer called Eating Animals. Great read, very informative. Highly recommend it!
Dealt with my old friend, low back pain.
I admit I’m Grinch-y.

I’ve posted much more than this, but this gives you a good idea where I’ve been and where I’m heading.
